The City Council of Malaga had multiple Data Processing Centers, 14 Control Centers, several Call Centers for different municipal telephone services. This information can only be accessed by the body in charge of providing each of the services.

In order to improve the efficiency of the management of public services, the City of Malaga has opted to unify the Control Centers in a single building to direct, control and plan the city, using technology intelligently.

This infrastructure, which has the technological collaboration of IBM and Telefonica, has been a pioneer in Spain and allows to improve efficiency and work in a more coordinated manner, generating a clear reduction in costs by unifying services, with an annual saving of 800,000 euros in maintenance, security, technical services and electrical consumption.
