Malaga has had a unique "last mile" system in Spain for the transport of goods in the historic center, by means of electric vehicles with charging points in several parking lots in the city center. This first "CUDE" project, a pioneer in Spain, was created in 2004. Until 2011, CUDE had distributed 630,000 shipments and 28 million kg of goods in a "sustainable" manner.
